About Regenurex

What is Astaxanthin?

Astaxanthin is one of the most powerful antioxidants, which means that it reduces oxidative damage from our daily activities. Antioxidants, such as blueberries for example, support health. Astaxanthin supports health at a high level, and thus supports joint health, muscle health, promotes recovery, and much more!

Our Products

Regenurex Astaxanthin is available both as a human health supplement in the form of soft gel capsules, as well as in a liquid form to top your pets' food, called X10. Our capsules contain astaxanthin combined with non-GMO, high oleic safflower oil. Regenurex Astaxanthin x10 pet topper and our capsules are free from artificial additives or preservatives. Due to popular demand, we co-developed a food topper to provide your four-legged family members with the same healthy algae oil that you've come to love.

Made in Canada

Regenurex Astaxanthin is made from a naturally-sourced, local strain of freshwater microalgae found in British Columbia, Canada, called Haematococcus pluvialis

Production Process

We grow our algae in fully sealed and controlled tanks called photobioreactors using pure, alpine water. This provides optimum growing conditions to maintain the health of the algae throughout their lifecycle and reduces exposure to environmental contaminants. This process allows us to reliably reproduce the same consistent, high-quality product with zero contamination - something  algae grown in open ponds can't match.

Our Technology

Regenurex Astaxanthin is produced from a natural astaxanthin from a freshwater algae called Haematococcus pluvialis, and is produced in controlled photobioreactors. Our extraction process is mild, which means that the algae is never dehydrated or exposed to harsh chemicals. This extraction allows for a full-spectrum of the astaxanthin's oil nutrient profile for a potent supplement.

Regenurex Astaxanthin can be compared to freshly squeezed orange juice, where you get more of a potent supplement, compared to drying to create a juice concentrate, or astaxanthin isolate. Isolate uses faster, simpler, and cheaper technologies such as supercritical CO2 extraction which can denature the algae oil and fail to capture other nutrients present in the algae cell.

Maintaining Quality

Regenurex astaxanthin is unique because we use a proprietary mild extraction process. Our product is never dehydrated or exposed to harsh chemicals. In our extraction process, we gently mix the algae with vegetable oil to extract the lipids (the algae oil) together with the astaxanthin. This ensures that Regenurex astaxanthin preserves the benefits of the whole algae.

While our gentle extraction method requires more time and attention than others, we believe it is worth it. Regenurex is the only Astaxanthin product with a sweet flavour profile, a pleasant odour and no fishy aftertaste.

Suggested Dose

The suggested daily dosage of Regenurex is 8 – 16 mg (2 – 4 softgels).  It is best taken with food that contains a healthy form of fat or vegetable oil (such as avocado) to aid absorption.

In Canada, the authorized maximum daily dose for NPN 80060233 (4mg) and NPN 80082240 (12mg) is 36mg/day. Astaxanthin has received GRAS status in the United States, meaning it’s generally regarded as safe.
